"Well... Didn't expect to be runnin' into YOU 'cuz." Gladstone says, gaze half-lidded and a brow raised as he takes in the sight of the loon-duck. VASTLY different from the sweet li'l Chucker he adores, Glad doesn't even attempt to look pleased to see Abner. Not that he shows how DISpleased he is... Merely looking 'indifferent' to bumping into him during a supposed-to-be-relaxing hike in the woods, he can't help but dryly add, "Must be my Lucky day, huh?"

The first thing that Abner could think was a big “Why”. Why, of all people, should be Gladstone the one he stumbles on?
“I work here. You know, work, the occupation decent people do for a livin’... Are you a dying hiker? Because if you’re not, I have no business with the likes of you. A lot of morons from the big city keep getting lost around here, and I have to be sure they make it out while still breathing...”
Abner exhales audibly, his nostrils flared in an expression of disgust. He turns his back to Gladstone, ready to go away.
