Please welcome our 2019 No. 6 Zine contributors, especially our 3 guests!

@miyukiko​ is an artist whose absolutely gorgeous No. 6 art book or Nezushi reunion charm you might recognise. Miyukiko is also a cosplayer, and participates in other fandoms such as D. Gray Man and Granblue.

@ahikuboruchi​ is an artist known for clever drawings resembling the No. 6 manga. Ahiku is also a member of the RestructuralCommittee, and was featured in the 2018 No. 6 Zine as an illustrator and a merch artist (buttons, mug, postcards). You might also be familiar with Ahiku’s fics The Forest of Tranquility, Childhood Friends, or Revolution, which you can find here on AO3.

@listenforthelove​ is a writer who loves Safu and cross-overs. You might know listenforthelove’s fics Of Cold And Muffins, Six Times Fate, or One Day In May. Check out listenforthelove’s AO3 here if you aren’t already familiar with it!

Hey there! :)

It’s been a while, huh?

I hope you are fine, my friend.

After being lost for a very long time, I finally found a really great small company that offers communication trainings, voice coaching and an abundance of other trainings for the service industry. It’s for staff and executives alike. I’m currently learning how to organize trainers, trainings and other things and within the next two years, I’m also going to learn more about marketing and distribution. Since I’m now doing a professional retraining within 2 instead of 3 years, I’m going to be very busy... (My first week of business school is going to start on Monday! Exciting!)

Well, I recently scrolled through my Tumblr posts and thought that I don’t really just want to let my art blog die. It’s been way too quiet the last few years, since I don’t have a lot of time (and motivation) to draw anymore... but I decided that I want to keep my good old blog alive by reposting my old art once a week or so.  I’ve drawn sooo much and there are countless possibilities for new picture sets or things like that...

However, if you don’t want to see that, please put #oldart in your blacklist, then it won’t bother you.

You’ll find mainly find No. 6, Carry on, Eyewitness and also some random stuff here. And maybe there’ll be some new art as well... (but probably not very often).

So, if you’re still following this blog, maybe you’ll find some stuff to remember bygone times. Or maybe you’ll find something new that you missed in the past.

No. 6 Zine merch artists have been chosen!

We are pleased to announce that @ahikuboruchi, @arianwen44, @bedwithpills, @joichii, and @milkhorror will be designing merch for the No. 6 Zine. They are working on a variety of items for No. 6 fans to purchase, including buttons, stickers, postcards, and more. Items will be sold directly by us, as well as through Redbubble. All proceeds will benefit the anti-poverty organisation Action Aid, as voted for by our followers.

Merch designs will be revealed mid-June!

Hey there :)

Uff, I don’t really know... It doesn’t work without reference pictures, which you need to study to know how they look from various angles. Well, you really just have to pay attention how this and that is drawn. It doesn’t always work, though... ^^ Your own style will probably always show at some point, and I that’s alright. I guess it’s actually better to do your own thing. I just like to challenge myself when I try various art styles; or when I try to draw something as close to the original as possible. I don’t know if this answer helps you, but I hope so.

Hey! I saw your 'carry on' and I really like it! But then I realized, I bought some months ago a book and the charakters look most similar to your art. And yes, it's this book, so I wanted to ask, is it good? And I saw some Vampire or Devil/Demon drawings, is it in the story too? (Sorry for my bad English! I'm from Germany)

Yeah, there’s a vampire in “Carry On”, and one of the characters gets demon wings and a devil’s tail later in the story. :3“Carry On” is an exceedingly good read and I can warmly recommend it. I just don’t get why you’d buy a book when you don’t plan on reading it. XD I mean, I buy a book because I think it might be interesting... So I check out reviews beforehand... Or I ask people if they think it is good BEFORE purchasing it. XD Just saying... (No offense, tho.)

1) Do you sleep too much or too little?

Too little, I guess. I have to take sedatives to fall asleep in the first place. (._.)

2) Card games or board games?

I haven’t played card or board games in forever. I think both can be really great, when you play them with great people.

3) The zodiac sign you identify the most with?

I’m Pisces. (I actually turned a year older today, urghl OTL) I identify a lot with my zodiac sign and wouldn’t want to identify with another one.

4) Favorite eye color?

I love really dark brown or black eyes. (My eyes are green, but I’d like to have brown eyes. ^^° And I bet a lot of people with brown eyes would like to have green eyes. Why are we never satisfied with what we have?)

5) If you were in ATLA which bender would you be?

I actually think I would not be a bender at all and do something else instead, like...trying not to die or something. But if I had to choose, I’d probably choose water.

6) Favorite Netflix original?

I don’t have Netflix.

7) Do you/did you enjoy your childhood?

It was okay.

8) FMK The Schuyler Sisters

This isn’t even a question. I don’t get what you wanna ask here. XD I don’t know FMK (what does that even mean? Sorry, I’m not a native English speaker...XD) *tries google* Fuck Mary Kill? Who are the Schuyler Sisters? I’ve never heard of them. So I’d answer with: Nope?

9) Favorite comfort anime?

Hmmm... the cuter Ghibli stuff for younger audiences. Like Ponyo or Kiki’s Delivery Service. :3

10) Your favorite term of endearment?

I’m not exactly someone who uses terms of endearment... When I use them it is rather for teasing purposes. ^^°

11) Do you write stuff on your wrists?

No. My memorization skill is not too bad and in worst case I use sticky notepads or something.
