one of the most fascinating things about 'getaway car' that i've noticed is how the sound and the lyrics progress and build throughout, eventually reaching a point of complete chaos towards the end... but the actual last few seconds of the song are contrastingly so abrupt and quiet, just as if one were to start up the engine of the car, and speed away into the distance; never to be seen or heard again.
