No, there's a lot of people who hate the idea, because they don't like Hayley or because they think it's way too complicated to work. I think they are going to be a very controversial ship.

YES the witch massacre thing sounds like a good plot twist as I definitely prefer the tough-mean Originals rather than easily killed by some novice vampire hunter (sorry still bitter about the Kol death) but I have a bad feeling that the baby is real and that Sophie & Hayley are here to stay as potential love interests since I think it was DG that said having Nina come on two shows would be too expensive & they wanted it to stand alone
I like them mean too, I want them to start being nice to each other, but they need to keep being evil to anyone who betrays them.
They usually kill at least one of the main cast, at lot of people think it will be Davina, I think it's going to be Sophie, but probably only if they last 22 episodes.
I admit his killings were brutal and sometimes unnecessary (remember when he compelled that poor vampire Slater and that little young werewolf from Jules' pack). But how bad is it that I really want to see the "bad" crazy killing maniac Elijah in TO
I really hope we will get to see it, even if it's not in present time, at least in a flashback. I don't know if it was Kol or Elijah, but Klaus's desperation to find a crazy "brother" makes me think that he went killing with one of his siblings at some point in his life and he's trying to recreate it with strangers.
Or maybe if the baby turns out to be fake, it's going to hit him hard and he can go on a massacre. Last scene of the season, Elijah, Rebekah and Klaus killing all the witches who knew the baby was a fake.

Not as much as Klaus and Rebekah, but he's pretty bad too, remember the coins? And Trevor, and the two hearts at once. And the vampires in the backdoor pilot. His killing are more show of force than anything, but he's not much better than his siblings, he just has a little more control. Which is going to be an interesting plot, finding out if he ever lost control.
