Pairing Guide: Daiki Aomine

Character Traits: Aomine is a pretty simple guy, with that ego of his. The traits depend on the time period the story is set, because Aomine has certainly undergone a lot of changes throughout his character arc, growing up. If it's Teiko, during First Year, then someone he can establish a common ground with based on personality, outlook, a common simple thing, but if you're looking for Aomine who has a big ego (except nowadays he's a little more mellowed), then someone who is resilient enough to handle him.

Someone resilient, subtle, and caring but not pushy. I'm not asking for tsundere, but go ahead, see what really works best. Aomine is not really interested in girls at that this moment, except those porn magazines though, because he has what he needs. And by the way, BIG BOOBS ARE NOT A MUST.

Development: The best is school for now, but a good connection is a good choice. There are rides/walks to and fro to the school, by bullet train, or simply stumbling on ways. Goukons are not recommended (Gokuens are group dates) because of his current status, unless it's an AU where such a scenario is totally possible. Also, Aomine will definitely hate forced and rigid schedules.

Aomine needs his personal space a lot, too. He probably also wants to gravitate towards practical and sensual activities in a dating scenario.

Don't expect him to be too emotional.

Don't expect him to all lovey-dovey. Aomine is a simple man.

In dating scenarios, remember Aomine will be sensual. Simple and practical.

He won't express his emotions but remember even he has them.

Don't be too pushy.

Expect him to do his thing.

Don't be a carbon copy of Kuroko or Kagami.

He's a little hard to manage.

Don't expect him to fall for you immediately.

You can't work with giving him food, because currently, Sakurai has that covered.

Tell Aomine off, but remember, he won't listen to you. Most of the time. :o

He won't be openly affectionate.
