So today @m.nca and I (finally) had the pleasure of visiting the NGV together! In the NGV International's 'Federation Court' there's this great interactive art piece with a few bunches of cymbals suspended from the roof. I saw some kids being handed the special tapping sticks and, because I cannot help myself, I asked the lady supervising if I could play too. Her conditions were "Sure, but don't tap them hard or I'll have to ask for it back." Needless to say it's all fun and games until someone forgets to pull their punches. Or taps.
