"Sasha, you can't sleep here. You need to sleep in your own bed." Annabel ran a hand through her hair in exasperation at her five year old daughter's antics, shooting an apologetic smile to the other young girl standing in the corner. Eric was crouching next to the bed Sasha was adamantly curled up in the middle of, doing his best to cajole her into moving. "Sunshine, we told you, we're turning the playroom into a bedroom for Natalie for a little while, you can still have all of your toys in your room..." Sasha was nothing if not stubborn though, and refused to move from the centre of the pile of blankets.

Letting out an exasperated sigh, Annabel turned to face her husband with a skeptical expression. "Eric. Didn't you tell me you'd put Sasha to bed over an hour ago?" Without looking up from his book, Eric nodded. "Mmhmm." Standing with one hand on her hip, she gestured to her daughter's empty bedroom. "Well then, would you like to tell me where exactly?" This at least caught Eric's attention, and his eyes widened as he came to stand beside her and see that his daughter's bedroom, where'd he'd left her sleeping soundly an hour ago, was indeed now empty. "Ah. I did put her to bed, and I was sure she was asleep..." Annabel tapped her foot. "I'll just go find her." Muttering under his breath at his daughter's antics, "You're going to get me in serious trouble with your mother one day, young lady", Eric began searching the house. Thankfully, there weren't too many rooms to their small apartment above the store, and he had quickly narrowed it down to one. He beckoned his wife over to the doorway of what used to be Sasha's playroom, where they could see a bundle of blonde curls peeking out from under the duvet of the neatly made bed. Eric crouched down next to the bed. "Sunshine?" Sasha's head slowly turned to look at him. "Why can't I go to Hogwarts too?" He frowned slightly. "You'll be able to go in a couple of years, once you've turned 11. You know that." Sasha pouted at him, rather spectacularly. "In the meantime, you have to go back and sleep in your own bed." Eric had to bite back a chuckle as the memory of when Natalie had arrived occurred to him, as Sasha spread her arms and legs out, holding onto the mattress in as many places as possible. "Nuh-uh. I'm staying here. All the time until Natalie comes back." Eric turned back to Annabel, who shot him a look which clearly said 'You're on your own on this one'. Sighing, he ruffled her hair before standing up again. "Alright then Sunshine, but you have to make Natalie's bed for her again before she comes home." Sasha just nodded, already curling up again, cuddling one of the stuffed owl toys Natalie had left behind.
