Ok, I did not realize how much of a big part of my entertainment youtube is until I committed to not using it. I am certain there are others that are struggling, and have probably gone to youtube out of muscle memory.
Thats ok! Habits are hard to break. Here are a few things I have done in an effort to "scratch that itch" of mental stimulation:
* said hello to some family members
*downloaded 5 Calls app to help call my representatives (not related to the youtube thing, the time to think made me realize how little I do to speak out)
*starting looking up written tutorials about how to fix clothing
*downloaded some games
*put twitch on for background noise (VODS rn, cause my streamer isn't streaming rn)
*been forced to reckon with how much time I waste on youtube
Anyways, just some tips. good luck! Sign this petition! It was at 72,000 signatures at the time of me posting this, just for some fun comparison of numbers.
