Trump administration plans to write regulations using AI
“We don’t need the perfect rule,” said top Transportation Department lawyer. “We want good enough.”
This is bizarre. The party of "small government" and "regulations are bad" wants to 'flood the zone' (why?) with AI schlock written regulations on transportation.
They're using government funds to boost AI stock prices.
This is just corruption, not any kind of wise policy.
The DOT spokesman said, "We don't even need very good rules."
We don't?
The DOT write rules including regulations that keep airplanes in the sky, prevent gas pipelines from exploding, and stop freight trains carrying toxic chemicals from skidding off the rails.
When they get those rules wrong, people die.
