When applying color to naturally textured hair that will be worn in straight styles it’s important to note that the light reflection will not be the same as naturally straight hair, without heavy sheen products that may produce an “oily” look, when styled. To combat this issue I like to do an inverted color application with very light areas in the traditional “high light” “low light” pattern. These light areas imitate “shine”. It allows the presses hair to have the look of light reflection even in the absence of heavy product! This type of application is perfect for people who have naturally curly hair but choose to wear it straight on occasion. 💥💋 . @colortrak sheets and meche were a must in this color process💯. . I use bright and muted colors in this skip slicing technique. . .We are moving into a time in this country where straight hair is becoming a style option, not necessity!
