‘tantan’⠀ The work is same, day after day. The work might not look glamorous, it may not be flashy, it may look boring to those who do not understand. ⠀ However, our cities, our society, even our lives have been built and supported by those who have committed themselves in mastering their trade and the tools that they use. It is a relationship with their tools that day after day makes the world turn, that makes up the fabric of the world we take for granted.⠀ ⠀ This is the spirit of tantan. But everyone who commits themselves to their crafts, and mastering the tools they use to do so are also the spirit of tantan. ⠀ ⠀ tantan means, simply, bland, or plain.
