I’ve always had an obsession with the Mayan Feathered Serpent, growing up in Yucatán I heard many stories of the god my Favorite being the “Descent of Kukulcán” twice a year during Spring and Autumns Equinox when the night and day are in balance Kukulcan returns to earth and the shadow of the Feathered Serpent crawls down the Temple, I never had the chance to see it in person before moving to California but I constantly think about the event. It took me a couple days to hand paint,crystal and feather this piece but I think it was well worth the work. - Aidan Euan
