Chapter twenty three, part seven
During the funeral, Deborah watched her mother standing next to her father. Helping him with his own grieve and supporting his mother. She stood by him as promised during their wedding. Deborah started to wonder if she would miss her own parents. Her mother had moved away from her mother a long time ago. Her parents were married for thirty years now. And even though she didn't know her real father she had a man who had been a good father to her. Deborah knew him good and didn't hesitate one second to say that. He had been a great grandfather to her. Deborah thought back to the time she had spend at her grandparents house far away from were she was living now. Maybe her greatgrandparents were also dead now. They would be very old if they would still be living. They had been such wonderful people. Never a bad word about anything but always encouriging. Deborah did miss them and wished she would be able to see them again. That was the only thing she wasn't aloud to do. Well, together with pleny other things. And all because they were scared about the rest of the world finding out about her son living far away with Phillip and Alicia. Eight years old would he be by now. Such a big boy. She wondered how he would look like now. Did he still have such dark hairs? Did he look like her? Or more like Thom? Thom. She hadn't seen him since years. Like he vanished from earth. Those people were all from a different time in her life. She remembered them clearly but would they remember her?
