Shawn Frost - Inazuma Eleven ❄

I don't think many people know him. Shawn comes from the Inazuma Eleven games, and an anime was adapted around the same time the first game was released (2008). He’s really an interesting character, and his story is very sad.

To summarize, when he was little, he and his little brother Aiden loved playing soccer: Shawn in defense and Aiden in attack, they were the perfect duo. But one day, while they were driving home with their parents after a match, an avalanche happened, and only Shawn survived. He developed DID after this event, with his brother as another identity (alter). On the field, it’s Shawn who plays defense and lets Aiden take care of the attack. He had built a certain balance and was doing well mentally.

At 14, he joined the Raimon team, who had come to recruit him to defeat Alius Academy. But over time, when Shawn and Aiden faced opponents stronger than them, his mental state became increasingly unstable (he has a major problem with always trying to be perfect). On top of that, it was Aiden that the team relied on to score goals, and Shawn felt like he was disappearing. This led to a "conflict" with his brother, as he wanted to prove that he was capable of scoring too.

Marc and his team only found out about his brother at that point, they hadn’t known before (their coach knew and only told them then lmao). It was thanks to the support of his new friends that everything was resolved during the match against Genesis. He kind of 'fused' with his brother. That’s basically the main thing to know about his lore xD

People do not like that Aiden & Shawn are both forwards in Ares/Orion. I get it!!

One of the main issues of Shawn in OG is the perfectionism issues that he has. Together, they are perfect, and this idea was fed by their father. I like to think that in the alternative timeline, this issue was stopped. Meaning that they no longer were obsessed with being perfect and allowed themselves to explore other parts of soccer rather than be stuck in the positions. This is seen in Aiden that he has both forward and defender positions. Ursa Defender and Ursa Rager.
