"Open the fucking door, this shit isn't funny anymore." Voice bellowed in the otherwise quiet neighbourhood, steps taken back from the front door to bang against the window. He wouldn't be ignored.

"Just fucking thrilled," Snapped as she slid back into the passenger seat. He shouldn't be mad. It wasn't her fault that she was some kind of famous or that their evening had been brought to a halt before either of them cared for. But here he was with a bad attitude and the brunette on the receiving end. "You going to tell me what the fuck that was?"

You can almost see the weight lift off his shoulders when her hand touches the door handle. Breath is taken, tho it cant be. It feels like it's the first since she'd exited the vehicle. Thick fingers quick to lock doors once closed, there was no fucking way he was having a repeat performance. "Thank you." Spoke as gaze shifted back out the window, pulling the truck back onto the empty country road. His fingers strum against the wheel as he does his best to allow silence to speak for him, though you can almost feel his frustration building.

Smile played on lips at the mention of the others grandmother, stepping forward to grasp the plate of food from the woman. Eyes rolled as he moved towards the kitchen, placing plate on the counter and all but tearing the plastic wrap off to dig into the food. "She always thinks I'm getting too skinny," Not that he was complaining she was the best fucking cook he'd ever met. "But tell her thank you, it's nice someone cares." Ignoring the other comments as he moves to crack open a beer, his plans suddenly halted.

Large shoulders shrugged off the thanks hell bent on ignoring the blonde and continuing on with his night as planned until he'd hear the proposition. Slowing down just enough to allow her to fall into step next to him, "You can get me both," He grinned at her before settling himself on a stool in front of the bar. "Whiskey neat, you can put it on her tab," Head nodded toward his company at least for the moment.

Broad shoulders shrug off the thanks, he wasn’t doing it for praise, it was just something that had to be done. But he knew most people didn’t see it that way, it was always someone else job to take care of shit. Eyes glance to hand flexing it as he comes to sit on on a stool, “You’re right, it probably does need ice.” Agreement give before he’d turning to the bartender, “First I need whiskey,” Glance over his shoulder to the women, “You?”

Light orbs watching as she settles before he shifts truck back into gear and behinds to press on the gas. Truck slowly rolling down small down street, “Way to make a guy feel special.”
