“For every cause there is an effect.” He told her simply as he continued his walk to her. He held a briefcase in his hand. He studied her she was pretty it was sad that he had to do this to her.

“We have no choice. We must flee.” He told her. He hated the idea of it himself, but the prince and princess made staying to fight more complicated than if it were just him and the queen. He held one of the bags he carried out to her. “We have perhaps a half hour before they reach this room. We should be gone in ten. Change and pack light it’s a long road to your closest allies.”

Aiden studied her for a moment. His eyebrows drew together as he closed the space between them. His reached a hand to caress her cheek as he leaned in to kissed her. The second he set his mind to it his movements shifted in confidence.
