What's your favourite horror game ?
Hilariously enough, horror isn't usually a genre I explore in video games! <XD
I tend to play more cozier games, farming or life simulators, or experiences like Balatro (aka as I call them the 'numbers go up' games)— now don't get me wrong, I love a LOT of genres, I'm just the type of person who usually watches more letsplays than plays the games myself unless I'm neck-deep into a fandom or hyperfixation related to it!
It may sound silly, but I love telling people this so I suppose it could count, but I might say Subnautica? I know it's not technically a horror game, but I personally have a HUGE fear of the open ocean and deep waters (combined with and for similar reasons that I have an extreme fear of deep space) so to me it really feels a bit like a horror game!
I absolutely adore the game and I love the little details about its story, its gameplay, and I have countless fond memories of various youtubers playing it that I've watched, but I genuinely can't ever get past the opening section of the game because I am legitimately that terrified of the dark and unknown waters <XD
