A whole-ass pirate ship!

I spent all-together way too much time on this, but it was very fun and engaging. It’s a ship for a crew of original characters in the One Piece universe. Kinda... accidentally tripped and created a crew of 19, oops! (I’ll be attempting the characters next, god help me >.>)

Another fanart for @missmungoe's Shanties for the Weary Voyager / Mnemosyne (link)? Is anyone surprised? Well ya shouldn't be!

This time featuring a completely made up thing that isn't actually technically fanart, it's just based on a few hours of me sitting around going 'Well, what if Hamon sees Shanks rediscovering his family through all the newspapers, and he sees Siren being used to defend rather than to take life, and it drives him to make one more sword, even though he said he retired when he forged Siren-- and then Shanks, Makino, and Rowan are heading to Dawn Island for a visit after the dust has settled, and Shanks brings Griffon and Siren in for some TLC, and Hamon presents him with a sword for his daughter." I mean, it'd be obvious from context clues that his daughter is Kuja-- hence the snake theme-- and if the papers print her name, rowanberries would make sense for the engravings. And it's got an intricate sageo, like her mother's does, just not in red (I made it purple because I really like the idea of her becoming the Empress of Amazon Lily later) and it has the curled handguard, like her father's. And the name is the feminine version of the myth about the dragon-serpent that lived where the Oracle of Delphi was housed, after Apollo slew the beast-- and I thought that made sense with Rowan's associations, fire (or at least the color red haha) and serpents, and the fact that her parents swords are both named for mythological creatures! But that it also made some sort of sense with the fact that Shyarly's vision of her and Makino was also crucial to how this whole story has shaken out-- which made the association with the Oracle of Delphi pretty nice too?

Another version of Siren’s details, this time from the Scylla / Married at Sea parts of the ‘Shanties for the Weary Voyager’ series by @missmungoe (link) -- since in this version the engravings are different! I’m not so good at humanoids, but I really am in love with this sword so I had to try.

I have been reading a series of stories, “Shanties for the Weary Voyager” (link) by @missmungoe, which is a Shanks/Makino (One Piece) fantasy romance story of epic proportions. I fell in love with the description of Makino’s sword from ‘Charybdis’ (and I imagine it will feature heavily in Scylla once I get to that part haha) If you want to be swept away by a heartachingly beautiful romance story that is simultaneously touching and sweet, thrilling and anxiety-inducing, funny and bright, with a fair amount of delicious smut interwoven between all the plot and character development, please please please do yourself a favor and read this fic series.

It is over A MILLION AND A HALF WORDS, and that is because it has done a thing I thought only could exist in my wildest fantasies, which is: The primary story and it’s sequel are done (with more beside to fill out gaps in that story-- but for several major turning points in that primary story, the author has created a whole new fics where the coin lands on its other side, or someone makes a different decision, and everything spins wildly to meet the new reality. And I swear to god if you like the concept of that, you will feel so wildly indulgent and spoiled for having it all laid out for you like this. edit: minor edit-- totally forgot the little strip of metal between the blade and the hilt guard, and I also figured I’d add a closer look at the lotus since I worked really hard on it and I realized that it’s actually pretty small despite the close up lol!
