[ RP HIATUS ] WE'LL BE RIGHT BACK!
Attention students of Hogwarts! We would like to inform you that Asians in Hogwarts will be going on a hiatus.
We aren't the only ones to notice that things have been slow around here. As admins who are devoted to this roleplay and its members, we want to have a complete revamp. In order to get this done right, we will have to put things on hiatus for now.
But fear not! If you still wish to roleplay things out while we are on hiatus, then you are free to do so, whether it is on your main blog or your thought blog. The revamp will not affect ic plots (unless you are using the Doctor Who element - but from what we can tell, that seems to be hardly anyone at all). It's simply a general spring cleaning and makeover to try to liven things up.
Following this revamp, please expect many changes to the rp. Over the next few coming weeks we will be both adding and removing aspects of the roleplay. We will most likely be scrapping the whole Doctor Who side and will be really trying to build upon the magic aspects of Harry Potter. We would also like to focus on integrating more school-like situations into the rp, so that the idea of Hogwarts being a school isn’t forgotten about. This includes a lot more interactive events, such as being able to earn more house points, taking classes and completing (small) tasks and taking part in Quidditch.
During the hiatus, we will be accepting new reservations. If you have already reserved with us and it has been posted, it is up to you whether you still want to apply or not.
Once we open up again, everyone will have to reapply. The reservations we will receive prior the re-opening date will last 5 days after the reopening date. If you are already a member here, then we will link you to your old application. Just send an owl to the HQ to request the link. You might have to tweak the application a bit as there may be changes to the current one, but you won't have to rewrite the whole thing!
If there are questions or suggestions that you have, feel free to ask. The HQ is open to any new ideas. We are all a family here and we want everyone's voice to be heard.
The date for the re-opening is uncertain, seeing as we have a lot of things to clean, however we hope that it shouldn’t take longer than a month. There may also be a change to the URL or name of the roleplay, which we would be happy to take your suggestions for.
