AIIMS MBBS 2018 Exam Pattern
Below given marking scheme will be used to determine candidates’ scores and subsequently percentiles for AIIMS MBBS result 2018. AIIMS New Delhi has prepared AIIMS MBBS 2018 result on the basis of following details of a candidate: Candidate’s Raw Score (marks) in AIIMS MBBS exam Percentage of AIIMS MBBS Subject-wise Percentiles (upto seven decimal places) Overall Percentile (upto seven decimal places) Method of calculation of Percentile Candidate’s subject-wise percentiles and overall percentile in their group will be calculated on the basis of the following formula. The rank-wise and roll-number wise result of AIIMS MBBS 2018 will also be considered as the merit list of AIIMS MBBS 2018. It includes details of qualified candidates who are eligible for AIIMS MBBS 2018 first round of counselling. Candidates equal to four times the total number of AIIMS MBBS seats available in the respective category have been included in AIIMS MBBS merit list 2018 and the percentile score obtained by the last candidate in each category has been considered as the AIIMS MBBS merit percentile cutoff.

Method of Resolving Tie in AIIMS MBBS 2018 Result
In case two or more candidates scoring the same percentile in AIIMS MBBS 2018, following factors will be considered in the given order to break the tie between the candidates: Percentile in Biology: Candidate with more percentile in Biology will be given higher order in the merit list compared to the candidate with lesser percentile. Percentile in Chemistry: In case above factor fails to break the tie, candidate with more percentile in Chemistry will be given higher order in the merit list compared to the candidate with lesser percentile. Percentile in Physics: If the tie persists, candidate with more percentile in Physics will be given higher order in the merit list compared to the candidate with lesser percentile. Age: In case all above factors fails to break the tie, candidates’ age will be considered. Those senior in age will be put higher in merit.
AIIMS MBBS 2018 Counselling
The counselling of AIIMS MBBS 2018 will begin from June 23, 2018 in online mode. AIIMS New Delhi will conduct four rounds of the counselling process, ie. First, Second, Third and Open counselling rounds. However, the number of counselling rounds may vary as per the availability of seats after every round of the counselling of AIIMS MBBS 2018.
