Hey Ok4ru! Sorry for going to ruining your day with this depressed modern Stellzora AU idea that I just came up with while listening to this song called Re:バース (Re:Verse)
Yozora and Stella were living their lives, going to school, enjoying each other's company, and planning their future together, including starting a family.
All was fun and games until Stella was diagnosed with a temporary illness when she was 17, and she had a few more years left to live. Yozora, devastated, decided to give Stella the best years of her life.
For the next couple of years, they went to Prom, graduated from High school got married, and finally, after these years, Stella got pregnant and months later, they welcomed their baby girl, Aika, to the world.
But Stella's illness gets worse after the birth of their daughter, and the doctors told Yozora that they couldn't do everything to save his wife's life.
Yozora went to Stella's hospital room to see her one last time before she died, he didn't want to say goodbye to the woman he loved. Stella, knowing that her time is running out, thanks Yozora for giving her the best years of her life, and starts the family she has always wanted.
Her last words to Yozora were "I love you" before she finally passed away from her illness, leaving Yozora with their newborn daughter, and he started breaking down in tears as he lost the love of his life.
And jump forward to 5 years later, Yozora is visiting Stella's grave with Aika who is now 5 years old, Aika asks her dad a simple question, "Was mommy pretty?" The little girl asked. Yozora answered his daughter's question with a simple yes before explaining how amazing Stella was before she died, and would be an amazing mom if she were still around.
Before they leave the graveyard, Yozora feels a gentle touch before turning around to see Stella's ghost, smiling at him before fading away. Giving Yozora hope for the future.
