Summary: you found comfort in a new person making Bada realize what she had lost.

You sat on a bench with Aiki next to you. She had you wrapped in her arms and she was softly stroking your head as you calmed down.

You sniffled and lifted your head from her chest. She tucked your hair behind your ear and lifted your chin.

"It's okay. I'm here for you. I'm not leaving your side until you feel better," she said. You knew she had to pick up her daughter so you shook your head.

"You have to go. Your daughter-"

"Mom!" You heard a voice and turned your head. Aiki's daughter was making her way towards the two of you.

"Her dad picked her up from school. It's okay," she said as she patted your head sweetly.

"Hi, mom. Today was fun with Dad. He bought me a Newjeans album and he took me for ice cream!" She said.

"Dad just spoiled you today, huh? Did he buy you dinner?"

"Nope! But he said to eat whatever you cook. Is this your pretty friend? the one you've been telling me about?" the girl asked.

"Mhm. Her name is Y/N,"

"She is pretty. I'm sure you will be happy together," the girl added making you blush and smile.

"How about we all go to dinner? I'll cook for you," Aiki said and you nodded. She stood up and held your hand. You walked with your hands intertwined with hers and she held her daughter's hand as well.

Bada ran to the apartment complex hoping to find you there. She wanted to apologize for making you cry and for hurting you. She wanted to tell you how much she loves you, hold you in her arms, and kiss your tears away. But you weren't there.

You were sitting on a stool in Aiki's kitchen as her daughter showed you her Newjeans album. You laughed and giggled at the child's cute mannerisms she's taken after her mother. You had never realized how cute Aiki was until now. 

The way she played with her daughter and smiled at you. The way she looked at you was sincere and you felt bad for nagging at her for the past months. I could see how honest her intentions were with me. 

"Okay! Clean up, Yeon Woo. We are going to have dinner," Aiki said as she grabbed the plates from the cabinet and started plating the food. You ate with casual chatting and laughing. 

After dinner, Aiki sent her daughter to bed and you waited on the couch as she poured a glass of wine for you and one for her. 

"How are you feeling?" she asked and you took a sip of wine. 

"I don't know. My head was in a knot when I saw her in there with... her. It's like I did everything I could for her. You saw how much I cared for her and how much I loved her. I still do. Why couldn't she see that? And why did she act like she liked me and cared for me?" you drank more wine. 

"I don't know. I don't know how she couldn't see such beauty right in front of her eyes. Such a pretty soul with a really, really sexy body," she said and you giggled as you nudged her shoulder. There was a moment of silence. 

"In all my honesty, Y/N. You are an angel and if she doesn't see that then it's her loss," she said as she got closer to you. 

"And, I know I am not Bada but if you give me a chance, I can help you forget and maybe one day you will love me as much as you love her," you gulped when you saw the proximity of her face. You nodded. 

Maybe it was that you wanted to forget the pain she had caused you. Maybe you wanted to try something new or even be in a relationship for the first time. But the main feeling taking over you was anger. Wanting to make Bada jealous. 

Her lips met yours and you engaged in a small make-out. When you broke the kiss, you wiped the smudged lipstick from her lips and stood up. 

"I should get home. I have an early class," you drank the last of your wine and she walked you to the door. After kissing your cheek, she bid her goodbyes and you went home. 

Once you stepped out of the door you let out the breath you didn't know you were holding. It was all so exhilarating and new to you that you didn't know how to act. You held your chest tightly and got on the bus. 

You checked your phone and saw millions of calls and messages from Bada. You sighed and read through the messages. 

Same old. Asking you for your location. Her wanting to talk and constant nagging, but there is not a single apology. You rolled your eyes and shoved your phone into your bag. 

Once you reached your stop, you got off the bus and walked to your dorm room. You spotted the tall girl rise from the floor and she walked to you. You bit the inside of your cheek in anger. 

"Why did you come from a different route?" she asked and you furrowed your brows. 

"Since when do you care about my bus route, Bada? And why are you at my doorstep?" you asked nonchalantly going past her to unlock your door but she went after you. She tried to go in but you blocked her way. 

"Look, I'm really sorry, okay?" She said as she tried to hold your hand but you didn't let her. 

"Sorry? Sorry for what exactly?" you tilted your head giving her a cold gaze. She was taken aback by your actions. 

She was used to sweet and apologetic looks from you. A smile the minute she held your hand. A blush when she apologized and that seemed to be all gone. 

"Well... for what you saw earlier. I promise it meant nothing. Red and I were talking and then she-"

"Bada, you can save it. You have made it clear that I am just a friend to you. No matter how many mixed signs you give me, I am done. So, please don't come looking for me until you fix your own mind and feelings. I don't want to be a toy you can play with whenever you want. I am tired of being your support for a few days and then ghosted. I had dinner with Aiki and her daughter and I am exhausted so Good night," You closed the door in her face. 

She could see it. She could see you were holding back tears and she smelled the alcohol on your breath. She sighed and walked away. It was then that she realized how much she loved you. 

Not as a sister or friend. She loved you so much, it pained her to see you act like this towards her. How could she ever think of letting you go? She was now determined to win you over. She wouldn't let you go so easily. She was determined to put up a fight for once to show how much she loved you...
