Hi Sheila, I'm planning to cosplay Rey in a month and I was wondering if you had any advice about her belt and bag thing? It's my first cosplay so I'm a little lost. Thank you!!
First imma drop you this.
Then imma show you this!
It’s not much, but Japan Times recently published a small article saying that a scroll was confirmed to be the one certifying Sakamoto Ryoma as a master of Hokushin Itto-ryu style swordsmanship.
Niente’s reply: Oh cool! Hokushin Itto-ryo actually has a fairly nice article on Wikipedia. A very popular school of swordsmanship in the Bakumatsu, Itou Kashitarou, Todou Heisuke, and Yamanami/Sannan Keisuke are supposed to have trained in it, though not in the same dojo as Sakamoto.
The Japan Times article mentions Chiba Sanako, the daughter of the Chiba dojo’s master and a rumoured love-interest of Sakamoto Ryoma. Sanako also mastered the family’s sword style.
Kamiya Kaoru, the heroine of Rurouni Kenshin, is actually partly inspired by Sanako! In Watsuki’s “Secret Life of Characters,” he says of Kaoru:
“No specific model here. If pressed, I’d probably have to say the character Chiba Sanako from the novel “Ryoma no Koibito”–the self-proclaimed “Ryoma’s Girl.”
Chiba Sanako is another interesting Bakumatsu woman who confounds gender stereotypes.
Can you delete the post about Sakura in gaiden? They didnt even read gaiden and more than half the stuff they said isnt true... (Ive read all of Naruto and gaiden)
lmao yeah i’ll take care of it. wasnt sure if any of it was true anyway
aikroa, thank you so much for submitting that information to my Tumblr! I really appreciate it! It’s definitely helpful information to know. I was having a hard time finding anything and I asked around a bit but couldn’t get any answers, so I greatly appreciate the time you took to give me some information on Ken ga Kimi. Until I hear about an English release in some form, I don’t know if I’ll buy it as of yet. Since I won’t have a clue of what I’m doing even though the artwork appears absolutely stunning. Thanks again for the info! I’ll be keeping it for a future reference. :)

I think you’re talking about the OVA episode that came out a few weeks ago! The two schools have a water gun fight against each other at Samezuka’s school festival.
o: where can I watch this???? It hasn’t shown up on Crunchyroll yet, and that’s the only place I know where I can watch Free! for free. If there’s somewhere that I can watch it, I’d be very happy.
leaving the obligatory question mark?
