Writing the 'Buzzzzzfeed' way!
I was late. How embarrassing and disrespectful.. I'm hardly ever late. Although it was literally 2 minutes, I felt horrible. Especially after my eyes met Viv's cold, scolding gaze.
It’s quite funny as to why I was late. I ran down the huuuge escalator at Canada Water and jumped on the tube. Just in time! The doors almost smashed me in. The victorious smile on my face faded when I heard the word ‘Stanmore’ - I was on the wrong tube!
Swearing at myself, I got off at the next stop and came back on the right train, wasting about 10 minutes. I got to the beautiful Canary Wharf station, which is just 5 minutes away from where our sessions take place. I was so glad that I didn't have to run like a mile or so (I wouldn't be able to do it for more than 2 minutes anyway).

Out of breath, I entered the room. Ailbhe (pronounced 'Alva'!) Malone, the Buzzfeed journalist, went ‘Are you alright there?’ and all I could say was ‘I'm so sorry’, the same thing I said to Viv when I entered.
I sat down, drank a lot of water and started listening to Ailbhe. I think she mentioned she was Irish, although I didn't notice this in her accent. I wonder whether she likes Jedward, I thought automatically. Having met them 28 times, I can honestly say they're the most unique, lovely and funny people I've seen. They're so down to earth. I wish people wouldn't judge them on their looks (which are actually as amazing as their personalities) and focused more on how smart they actually are.
Buzzfeed is a great organisation. I had done some research before this session but I knew it wasn't enough. I ran out of time and had to leave to get to Canary Wharf. Ailbhe was asking us so many questions about the website; had I done more research, I would have my chance to finally dazzle. ‘Dazzle’ is apparently journalists' favourite word. Well, I like it, too!
