I will freely admit it... I was a dope for spoiling the end of the game before I got it... But dangit, I wanted to see what would happen! So I look in the forums and wow, all I see is bittersweet garbage. I know it's war and war has casualties. And I get this is the more realistic and that if there was a heavy price to be paid, but I REALLY wanted a happy ending for Shep and the galaxy. I wanted to fly in all Independence Day-style and beat the Reapers with the shear number of ships and people that the galaxy had and Shep meets up with his/her LI and celebrate on the Citadel. Yes, I wanted the Hollywood ending. But only one of them. Was it really too much to ask for? I know it's easy and cliche, but I really invested a lot of time trying to make sure everything went "perfectly" for Shep's final curtain call. I'm still be keeping my pre-order because I have to see it with my own eyes. There's still a tiny piece of hope still left that I may get some of what I want. And who knows? In the end I may come to understand BioWare's swan song for Shepard. But I don't have to like it.
