Giant Panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca)
This image is twins LeiLei and XiaoXiao, about one year old, at Tokyo Ueno Zoo. Wild pandas live exclusively in six mountain regions in China. There are about 1,800 in the wild.
Despite being classified under the order Carnivora like all bears, the panda mostly eats bamboo.
