here's one of the characters for my webcomic that has just kinda existed in the plot but had nothing else? she's real now :]

description and relation to the chapter she's in under the cut:

her name is edith and her family lives on the far side of town in a wooded cabin. for being werewolves, her family isn't that disruptive to the town, and they have managed to keep their secret safe for many year. edith has recently graduated from the public highschool in styles springs, which she thought would bring a lot of relief when it comes to hiding her lycanthropy, but graduating doesn't mean she's free from local paranormal investigator: mikey josephine.

despite denying it multiple times and trying to avoid him, somehow he keeps "running into her" and prying with a lot of very odd questions. she warns him to keep to himself and mind his own business, or something bad will happen to him.

on the night of a full moon, edith retires to the forest to transform in peace, and by the time she realized she was being followed, it was too late. her pursuer, none other than mikey, faces the wrath of blind werewolf hunger and sustains a nasty bite.

she did warn him.

i'm so used to writing my shapeshifter with his vague UK accent, that i forgot it wasn't common knowledge he had the accent. i'm gonna cherish this comment forever.

eek. got some news--

due to, well, everything that has happened, i've made the decision not to continue my AU.

this was a hard choice to make, but it is one that i'm going to stand by, regardless of how any controversy or situation is handled. honestly, the whole thing has killed my passion and love for the game, and it just makes me feel icky to continue promoting something that has harmful people tied to its origins.

my posts here will remain as an archive for what has already been done for the AU, but i will not be updating it with more AU content. the two characters i have salvaged have been moved over to my original webcomic that i'm hoping to get back and running soon! (i got some concepts at the end of this post)

thanks to everyone who's been a fan! it was good while it lasted
