Some of you may recall an article a while back in which PG stated he’d love to do a Life on Mars movie.

IIIIIII am so torn on whether or not I want it, honestly. Because I’m in that ITTY BITTY MINORITY OF PEOPLE who hated both the last episode of LoM, and about 90% of Ashes to Ashes. :////  (also b/c i’ve heard no direct quotes from simm about his feelings about it, and we all know how picky he is.)

So while it could be another chance to be great (doing an aforementioned 2007 adventure would be my ideal pick so i wouldnt have to DO ALL THE WORK MYSELF), buuuuut it could also be another chance to fuck it up royal.

yeah yeah, this one is slightly strawman’d, but don’t lie, you’ve seen comments just like this on the internet. in fact this particular comic was triggered by this tweet i passed by

it’s genuinely one of my biggest pet peeves when people do this, mostly because i get this crap all the time cuz i happen to dislike lots of popular shows/movies, but also because it’s like “GOD FORBID someone have an opinion different than mine!! i’m going to dehumanize them because i can’t comprehend someone wouldn’t like a thing i like!!”

and for all intensive purposes, someone may in fact be a horrible human being. but ffs, what tv shows they like is not a good judge of this.

even hitler loved dogs and painting, and lenin loved cats and mountain climbing.
