hey wow! hourly comic day! i made it just in time!!

...it's still 2025, right?

yeah, this was supposed to be last year's comic... and i made notes of what it was gonna be and everything. but then more medical nonsense happened, and my dad was bedridden for 9 weeks and had to have back surgery...

and honestly? this is just a slice of the shit that's been goin' down the last two years. to the point where one day blends into the next, and i'm still feeling burnout. so i just... kinda taped it all together. cuz otherwise, the activities in the one day would be far too boring to chronicle.

The rather limited range of values as well as lack of yellows made this an interesting challenge. I did play around with levels but I opted to upload the original version with the scrunched range of values.

no way am i making anything else fancy this year, so here's my 2025 art summary. i'm lucky i had anything to show, march-june was hell for me, so didn't draw much those months

working through some complicated feelings about Last Year (the year of the dragon)

the two times i have been sapient enough to experience the year of the dragon, they've been the worst years of my life.

my logic brain is trying not to take it personally, but my OCD brain wants to be superstitious about it, and i'm trying hard not to let it get to me

i will not delude myself with high hopes, but i can at least start to feel like i'm moving forward, one step at a time

one way or another... it will be ok. but it will be different.
