Bingo! An example is sexual harassment in the workplace. This is additional labour survivors do to battle conditions that shouldn’t happen. Going for therapy means using a weekend, evenings or taking days off. While not all employers police sick days, some employers do frown upon it, EVEN if it’s within the stipulated contract and doesn’t exceed the days promised. Some penalise and lump it under “poor job performance”. Bonuses and promotions are then not given based on this. The output of survivors don’t stop, therapy is also a cost, not just a financial toll but emotional/psychologically/time /life toll.
