Let me see... Okay. Rinoa isn’t really one of my favorites – I didn’t really like her when I first played FFVIII, but now I guess I’m mostly neutral about her. Still, even back when I couldn’t bring myself to like her, I admired her courage, however reckless she was at times. And taking my whole background of rallies and demonstrations, demanding better wages for teachers and running from tear gas bombs, I can actually relate to her idealism!
T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending, about anything at all (gender identity, sexual or romantic orientation, extended family, sexual preferences like
A few, actually. First, I guess, is that Irvine missed that shot half on purpose– I mean, he never wanted to shoot Edea, and she also managed to deflect the bullet. Then, if we move on to other fandoms, such as Fushigi Yugi, I’ll defend until my last breath that Nuriko is a trans character, even if the author changed her mind in the last minute.

Okay, I’m going through this intense Italian music phase, probably because I’ll be heading to Italy in a couple days, and so every single Italian song I learned as a kid has been stuck in my mind these days. I tried ‘La Solitudine’ first, but nah, no character or ship I care about actually fits its high school drama. Then I moved on to ‘Scrivimi’ with it’s whole ‘if you feel alone or need someone, write me, all I need is to know you thought of me for a moment’, and I got this slight Squall/Quistis vibe (is Trepehart a thing now, @dormientesleo? I like how it sounds), but then again, I’m seeing these losers everywhere now.
