Late thoughts
It’s late.
I’m compelled to reach out to you through a screen of high resolution colors. Hoping to reach you below whichever part of the sky you dwell under.
Is your mind resting without a care, or lost in despair? Maybe your minds settling unfulfilled dreams or unresolved grievances. Dreams and grievances so petty, yet your mind over thinks and expands them far beyond ones reach.
Maybe like old times I can teach you something or open up your mind to previously unthought of’s. Could it be I’m thinking crazy again? Like fog, it’s becoming hazy again. Like unemployment, it’s becoming a trend. It seems time has separated us and all this pretend can not mend, what separates the lost innocence, from our present day experience.
I’m praying for the day you can face me again. Then maybe I can make amends for all that pretend I played while we dwelled in lives undeterred by fulfillment and capitalistic pursuits. Days when I stood for nothing but you. Now I stand for everything not you.
