She’d been in labor for hours. Almost a full day before their little girl joined them in the world. Maggie helped her though it, and Abby was more than thankful for the help. Abby lay there absolutely exhausted, which was not surprising to her. The baby cried in the background, and she watched as Maggie cleaned the baby up. Then she handed the baby over to Daryl.

Rick tilts his head at her and offered her a small smile. “No I didn’t know that. I figured that with everything that I did back at the prison, when I turned our group into a dictator ship you wouldn’t want to be friends with me..”

Carl smiled softly as he glanced to the older girl. He shrugged a bit in response, so many people have told him that exact same thing. If it was anyone but Beth he would have complained at both words ‘sweet’ and ‘kid’. He knew that he was the youngest person in their group- ever since Sophia turned. He looked up at her and gave the blonde another small smile. “That’s what everyone says- I just try to do what is right when there really isn’t a right and wrong anymore...”

She nodded, climbing on behind him. Her arms wrapped around his waist almost shyly. It had been a long time since she’d actually been that close to any man. Even with something as innocent as that. Having spent months trying to fully evade the man who had been chasing her, Abby kept her distance from people in general. But she also did not allow herself to trust people. People made her jumpy, nervous. And, of course, feeling his back pressed into her front - being that close - certainly did not help.

Beth could hear someone coming towards her. The blonde was tired and hungry, dehydrated at the same time. She could only hope that whoever it was didn't mean her any harm.

Lucas hadn’t had a very good day that day, there was little to nothing to be found around this place and he was starting to get more than a little pissed off about it. How was he going to trade with people if he had nothing to do it with. Lucas hears a tiny sound that causes him to turn around and he sees a woman in the back of one of the rooms. He hurries over to her and does a visual check for injuries and then takes out a bottle of water and a candy bar “I’m not hear to hurt you but we need to get some water and food into you right now.

Beth Greene was a waitress at one of the local diners. The place was known for giving cops a great discount since the owner had retired from the force. She worked the same hours everyday, showing up with a smile in her bright yellow uniform. It had gotten to the point where she even knew Officer Shane's order before he even placed it. So when he came in, she poured him a coffee just the way he liked it. "Double cheeseburger, curly fries, no tomatoes and a piece of pie for dessert?" She smiled.

Shane pulled the navy blue POLICE cap from his head and hung it up on the hanger by his favorite booth. He grinned at Beth as she came to pour his coffee.

“Well thank you, darlin’, you’ve got my number.” He said happily, sliding the mug towards him. He took a long sip. “And that’s exactly right. Do you have apple today?”
