Things had been pretty awkward between the both of them since that night, at least on her end. There still wasn’t a clear consensus on anything as of yet. Still, she did what she usually did. Cooked when it was her turn and cooked with him, ate with him, too.  

Valentine’s was coming and for all the years previous, she had made either foods or sweets for the other gold saints. This year should be no different, but knowing what he knew now, she figured the message across would be...less subtle. 

Aiolia seemed to really love the fish and olive oil combination, so she went with that for dinner. And, for his gift, chocolate baklava.

She knocked on his door. “Aiolia, dinner’s ready.”

Ok but can you imagine someone asking Aya why Aiolia sent her instead of showing up to something himself and she lies to hide the fact he got stuck in a container and can't get out
