Over 2400 scientists recently met to collectively agree on a crucial proposal as humanity arrives at a critical juncture with particular aspects of Ai technology proven to be extremely helpful, but carry horrifying consequences if miscalculations occur Killer robots, able to process subject’s information, physically track down targets and without human clearance, carry out killings. This is now the chilling possibility with Ai technology, robots that can independently make the decision to terminate human life without oversight The concerns were pointed out by some scientists who dread the idea of handing life and death situations to Ai enhanced machines This pledge is being put forward by The Future of Life Institute, calling on governments to agree on laws and regulations that effectively outlaw the development of such killer robots.
