Today I was at Aira Force, and associated other falls further up. Aira Force is in the Lake District in England and its been raining (that happens a lot!) so they're looking good. I also enjoyed a tree that seemed to turn a right angle and some roots that seemed desperate to find some soil but there was just more rocks! Nature really is lovely. I don't take that many photos of it that don't include people, I might try to take more

While writing this month's update I realised that I'd not shown my friends on social media one of the paintings I featured last month! Oooops!
So here it is: Ullswater from Gowbarrow, a watercolour piece I started part way up the fell on a sweltering day towards the beginning of August.
It was a lovely adventure and the most glorious day! People were paddling in the cascade pools of Aira Force but, once we headed up the fell, we were mostly alone together with nature and a marvellous view.
