10 Apr 2016. #AirAwakensApril Day 10: Longest Fantasy Book. After an exhausting day at #Supanova yesterday, I spent most of the night having a #GameOfThrones marathon. I always forget how much I love this world in all its messed-up glory. Only two weeks until the next season starts! How do you feel about books with different point of view chapters? Do you enjoy that mode of storytelling or do you prefer a straightforward narrative? I don’t mind either way, but the points of view have to be totally essential to the story to capture my attention. A longer book doesn’t necessarily mean a better book—I always find myself wishing someone had just pressed Ctrl+Z on a lot of the subplots of this series. Like the Iron Islands and Theon’s 57 uncles or whatever.
