Crispy rhubarb roasted in an air fryer is a tasty treat that combines the sour taste of rhubarb with a sweet and cinnamon-spiced coating. This recipe is quick and easy, and it works great as a side dish or dessert.
Ingredients: 1 pound fresh rhubarb stalks, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer basket.
Instructions: For 5 minutes, heat your air fryer up to 375F 190C. Put the pieces of rhubarb, sugar, ground cinnamon, and lemon juice in a large bowl. Mix everything together until the sugar and spices cover the rhubarb well. Use cooking spray or a little oil to lightly grease the air fryer basket so that food doesn't stick. Put the rhubarb mixture in the air fryer basket all at once. If your basket is small, you might have to cook it in groups. Do not forget to stir or shake the rhubarb every so often while it's cooking. Air fry it at 375F 190C for 8 to 10 minutes. Watch it carefully so it doesn't get too done; it should be soft but not mushy. Take the rhubarb out of the air fryer basket and let it cool for a few minutes before you serve it. As a side dish, dessert, or on top of yogurt or ice cream, the air-fried rhubarb is sure to please. Enjoy your tasty and healthy rhubarb that you roasted in the air fryer!
