🪙 — "SHOCKER! I just told you, I already checked! Maybe clean those eavesdroppers of yours!"
Granted, Varrick wasn't very convincing about the 'already checked' part. He just sits in a corner of the elevator, his arms crossed in front of his chest defiantly after proclaiming that they're apparently stuck. But, his eyes did scan over the steel box they're stuck in, from top to bottom. He studied the shut door and spotted a couple of small screws holding parts together above them.
"I could unscrew parts of the roof with the right tool! Which— I don't have on me. I checked. Unless you have a tiny screwdriver on you, we ARE stuck until they send someone to open from the outside. Wouldn't be the case if I built this!"
As someone who invested in this project monetarily, Varrick was invited to volunteer for a test ride on this new type of elevator. But because he's been running late, he didn't have time to search and bring his tools with him. Curse procrastination!
But let's not dwell on his own shortcoming!
"That is EXACTLY what happens if you let amateurs build things they don't understand! But more importantly; Why did you hop in here, anyway?"
