Little One
"Ahh.. The Little One. My Fledgling. My Child... Come here..." Airlia's voice sang out into the large, conference-like room. Her form was mostly bare, intricate tattoos lining her skin. Ornament, light metal armor covered the more private areas of her body. A red, sleeved cloak hiding anything else, trailing behind her.
Her arms lifted to embrace the young woman. The sleeves of the cloak engulfing the fragile woman like a blanket. The Ascended woman placed a tender kiss on the young woman's forehead, holding her at arm's length.
"Oh.. look at you.. my sweet child.."
"You've grown...so much since you've risen.."
"I am.. so proud.." She gave a loving smile, caressing the young woman's chin lightly before stepping away. "Do you believe yourself ready? I've you a mission.. Your first one."
The young woman gave a happy little smile, nodding, "I ... I am ready if you believe I am, My Lady.."
Airlia gave a pleased smile, a light chuckle following. "I've my faith in you, my little one." The young woman smiled brightly. So pleased that her Lady had so much faith in her. "Then... I am ready..for my task... My Lady." The young woman bowed her head. Airlia lifted the young woman's chin. "Have faith in yourself, my fledgling. It's the only way you will learn to fly... and soar.."
"To Ascend." Airlia gave a light chuckle, gesturing to the map of Azeroth on the floor of the room. She gestured, the map of the floor zooming into focus on Drustvar. "Drustvar is where you were birthed. I believe you most suitable for my task."The young woman smiled happily, nodding as she listened. "I wish you to keep watch of the place... if one were to grow curious of the oddities of the testing our people are doing there... I wish you to befriend them. Get them to trust you. As a friend." Airlia came up to the young woman, cupping the woman's face in her hand, "As one of their own... a guide.. or sorts, if need be."
"Of course...my Lady..." "And...what if I grow attached to them... my Lady?" The young woman asked, furrowing her brow. Airlia tilted her head, giving a light smile. "They wish our people harm, little one." "Certainly... that shouldn't be to much of a choice to make...no? They're ... so rude.. the people outside our own..." Airlia sighed softly, her brow furrowing, "They wish to being our people harm... when we mere want peace... a way to protect our own..."
"They would... bring so much harm to your sisters... our people..."The young woman bowed her head lightly. Nodding. She understood. "They are the bad guys...?"
"They are... my child... I trust you'll help me protect your family, and our people." Airlia gave her loving smile, hugging the young woman. Placing another tender kiss, on her cheek. "Oh.. I see. I understand. My Lady... I will protect my family... and our people." She smiled excitedly, "...and for you."
