When I was six years old my mom was hired at Hawaiian Airlines and I’ve been living out of a (heavy af) suitcase ever since. For most, traveling is a one of a kind experience jam packed with sight-seeing and agendas booked months in advance. However, you could say I live more on a whim than most. Basically, I treat the airplane as Uber. Im not here to brag about my flight benefits, but this lifestyle is one I’m truly grateful for. Despite what my Instagram conveys, traveling is more than exotic destinations and selfies on a beach. This uprooted, on-the-go pace has taught me the true value of time and it’s slippery nature. Flying between timezones and hustling through airports bears a heavy toll on your physical and mental wellbeing. You could call me a twenty first century nomad with an brimming purse, overflowing luggage, and not enough coffee/cocktails. Either or both, whatever works. I don’t have all the answers but I’ve picked up a few tricks to help my body weather the storms beyond the international date line and found a way to drag along all my cute shit without breaking a nail.
