Although it was originally a prop, rumors of the auto-lacing Air Mag became an urban legend. In 2016, the legend became a reality when Nike released a limited amount of auto-lacing Air Mags to raise money for Parkinson's disease research. Paying homage to the silhouette that inspired the future of footwear, the Adapt BB 2.0 'Mag' merges the color palette of the original Air Mag with modern Nike FitAdapt technology.
