“Hey,” Kyo called. This was probably the stupidest thing he’d done in a while; Kyo obviously wasn’t a match for this guy, and both his human brain and his cat brain knew that (the guy smelled like something...wild. Something very untamed that made Kyo want to hiss and run very far away. Also crappy cigarettes.), but he needed answers, damnit.
“Hey! Why the hell do you smell like that?!” He wasn’t even in cat form and he could feel his fur standing on end. This guy was scary powerful. “Stay the hell back!”

Putting his hands in his pockets, Kyo sighs and starts walking, no destination in mind. He’s getting restless, like a feeling deep down in that place he hates to acknowledge that something’s about to happen. So annoying. I mean come o n, he’s just walking! He looks around to settle his nerves and sees absolutely nothing that would set his instincts off. Just great, his animal spirit must be broken or something.
It’s when he passes a nondescript brunette that his instincts go completely haywire. The hair on the back of his head stands straight up and he has to resist the urge to hiss loudly at this stranger. Honestly, there is nothing threatening about them. They could fit right into a group of Kyo’s classmates, quite frankly. So why was he freaking out? The need to know outweighs the urge to run and he (gently) grabs the person’s arm. He wasn’t expecting it to be so cold.
“Hey, are you sick or something? What’s wrong with you?”

Kyo sighed a leaned back on the roof, letting the warmth of the sun hit him. It wasn’t as comfortable as the roof back home, but it wasn’t bad, and besides, the sun was relaxing.
Opening one eye, Kyo notices a rush of blonde hair hurrying past. She’s going to trip and hurt herself, He thinks, almost on instinct.
“Hey dummy, slow down or you’ll trip!” It’s only after he’s jumped off the roof that he’s processed what he’s said.
Oh crap, I just called a random stranger a dummy. “Uh, I didn’t mean to call you a-ugh, sorry.” My stupid damn mouth...

“Oh man, they really are all gone.” Jester was shaking an upturned handbag, frowning as nothing came out from it. “I’d collected so many of those diamonds for when I can finally use Revivify again and now they’re just all poofed away.” She looked to the other she’d seen fit to converse with, wearing a rather pronounced frown. “You think there are any jewelry places nearby that sell diamonds as big as all those ones that froze over got...?”
ganondorf is nothing if not prepared and resilient. he's since crafted for himself makeshift shivs of this CRYSTALLINE material, hoping to make of it a decent weapon indeed. the crystals may not hold much value in the end, for what worth is a gemstone when most of the city could obtain a little TASTE of it? but its value lies elsewhere, in a trail of broken FRACTURES, like a mirror shattered by a rock's throw. like a wraith, movements slipping amongst the pines - even in the big city, he'd avoid traversing the streets in favor of forests and parks - but the downside is that these corrupted beasts are bold and brave, and perhaps just a LITTLE fearsome. a snap of a twig and his shoulders tense up. fingers tighter around the makeshift weapon, turning upon the ginger haired male.
