CR Bus-Chiang Rai City Bus to Commence New Airport Shuttle Service in October 2018
CHIANG RAI – The CR Bus Company in Chiang Rai has announced that it will be introducing a New Air conditioned shuttle bus service in Chiang Rai to service several areas of Chiang Rai City.
The CR Bus-Chiang Rai City Bus, will travel along a route between Mae Fah Luang Chiang Rai International Airport, Ban Du, Muang Chiang Rai to the Chiang Rai Bus Terminal 1.
Mr. Jirapat Sakulsan, Managing Director of Thanapan 888 Co (Translated from Thai) said that the service route will start from the main bus station in Chiang Rai to the old station near the Night Bazaar then continue to Mae Fah Luang Chiang Rai Airport via Bandu about 15 km distance.
The first scheduled shuttle service will commence on October 1st, 2018, however the first grand opening service will be held on 29 September 2018 at 6:00 PM in Kasetsart Square, at Central Plaza Chiang Rai.
The new air conditioned buses will also be monitored with GPS tracking and CCTV cameras for passenger security and safety. The new buses will also be equipped to handle handicapped riders with a wheelchair access ramp.
The bus service is 40-60 minutes per day. The service fee is 20 Baht.
