After searching for each other for so long, the three of them sat side by side eating snacks.
Having returned back to his daylight form, Hinata looked like a plain, brown haired teenager that could be found anywhere. Except for the pair of ears on top of his spiky brown hair, and the tail that was currently swishing back and forth between his legs. Hinata could not help but feel lacking compared to his two closest friends. He wondered if it was still alright for a person like him to be by their side. He spent so long looking for them after the world became like this, but now when the three of them were finally together he had a hard time enjoying it.
Hinata had rolled his hand into a fist and been anxiously, and silently thinking the whole time. He suddenly came to a conclusion in front of the other two. All they needed to get along better like they did on that island was a group bonding session! Hinata took one final bite tearing his snack apart with his fangs and got overexcited as he moved to the quest board that was hanging in the town square. He wanted to be as useful as he could, so others would want him around. He took one last bite of meat ripping it off and crushing it between his sharp teeth before getting up.
“Guys, let’s do a quest on this board as a team! They might call us heroes if we succeed. Well, I’ll probably still be a zero but...”
Hinata looked at the quest board but none of them caught his eye.
“Hey, I’m no good at this kind of thing. Probably because I’m more of a level one villager type than an adventurer. Komaeda do you...” Hinata suddenly remembered what it was like trying to get Komaeda to make a decision, any decision. “Nevermind, bla bla, I shouldn’t be a part of your party, I’ll witness you two make hope shine, fast forward through all that. Hey, Chiaki you’ve played rpgs before right? Which one of these looks the most fun to you?”
