The beginning of a crazy journey. After planning the Havasupi trip for MONTHS with the Boy Scouts... I get this job on NCIS that totally conflicts. But still the only way my son can still go is if i "deliver" him to the campground. That means on my day off I have to drive 8 hours to the Grand Canyon, hike 10 miles down, drop him, hike 10 miles back out, drive home 8 hours and be at work at 5am the next morning. Hopefully. Crazy the stuff we can do for our kids!! I missed the trip... But my boy got to do to all!! And luckily I was able to bum a ride from the chopper!!
