The large beam shot upward towards Kappa, causing the druddigon to slide backwards from the attack. Her claws digging deep into the ground to prevent her from flying back from the force of it.
It was unknown if she was aiming for any specific spot, she didn't attack often but still managed to put a lot of effort in...
However it was unknown on where that wild uncontrollable beam would end up hitting at the rate it quickly shot out into the sky towards the Gmax'd pokemon in front of her.
The druddigon's claws dug deeper into the ruined ground beneath her as she stared up sadly as she once again recalled her last conversation with the samurott
"........Ladybird guesses it's a good thing your trainer got you all that space....."

Event time!
After watching the vote be somewhat evenly split for a while, I've decided to do a short sort of mini-event! (Making it short and sweet so it doesn't clash too badly with the other two events happening in the community rn lol)
The name of the game is this: Whittle down Kappa's health!
Create art or short written pieces of your muses from your Pokeask blogs attacking Kappa! One move or many moves, elaborate or quick posts, it doesn't matter! Kappa's health needs to be taken down!
When you make your post, @ this blog and tag the post with #aisfinale so I can find it! I will reblog your post with Kappa's reactions to your attacks and how much damage she took.
This is a very "anything goes" type of battle. Go nuts!
Some Rules:
No OHKOing or immediately defeating Kappa. I have plans for how this will end...
Remember, use characters from your own Pokeask blogs! No crossover blogs, please. (Fakemon are a-ok.)
As painful as it might be, Don't try to heal Nema! She'll figure her stuff out. Focus entirely on fighting Kappa!
I'm aiming for at least one post from everyone who wanted to participate, but if you want to attack multiple times, that's okay! Go for it!
If you would like your characters actions to be non-canon to your blog, let me know! So I don't come in with an ask about it later down the line. ^^'
A small hint, for those who want to do big damage: Aim for her headgear. ;)

Gazing upon the massive samurott before them, Odin and Brynn prepare to launch an attack.
Odin: How come we have to deal with this during our vacation...
Brynn: Because we're the only available team, dear. We have to respond to threats to innocent people and Pokemon. Now suck it up and get to that headgear.
Odin: Fine but I get to pick where we go next after this is over.
Without another word, the pair dashes toward Kappa, readying their moves. Brynn began firing multiple shadow balls to draw Kappa's attention away from Odin, who quickly flew up toward the samurott's headgear. Releasing a barrage of ice beams once close enough.
Steeling his nerves, the Greedent scurried into the source of the red mist, and took a deep breath. Nick began to grow, and grow, and grow. His shirt ripped, and his glasses fell off, unaffected by the Dynamax energy. At the peak of his energy, Nick attempted to body slam into Kappa, only for the move to overcharge into a Max Strike.
Because she was pinned, Kappa could only watch as the Greedent Dynamaxed to match her power.
She struggled desperately to get out of the way of his attack, but she could only sit there and take it. Nick barreled into her like a landslide, ripping her tail free from the rock and slamming her into the opposite wall.
Kappa groaned in pain. Her whole body ached. Where did these Pokemon come from? Why were they attacking her? She didn't understand...
She took in a deep, growling breath. She had to fix this.
