"Okay, don't hate me." Navy exhaled, holding up a brown paper bag that she'd pulled from behind her back, eyes focusing on her other as her tiny smile grew. An endearing look as she focused on @aishathevar, someone she'd considered her friend at this point from all of the thrifting escapades that they'd been on together. "I know it's late, but this -" she paused, nodding towards the brown paper bag. "Is your belated birthday present." she smiled. Inside was a lavender colored sun dress, with matching accessories of course. "I know how much you enjoy finding fun things at the thrift store and when I saw this you were the first person I thought of." she admitted. "If you hate it please don't tell me." she joked.

Every hangover after thirty seemed to be WORSE than the last, Adya was even more hard on themselves as they knew better than this -- yet they did not do better. "A hangover with no iPhone storage? Am I in hell? I'm trying to take pictures to send off to Mum but I can't even take a picture because it says my storage is full. Do I just get a new phone, then?"

personality
Like the first sip of champagne, Aisha is very bubbly. Eager to hear what's going on in a friend's life, or to lend a helping hand to a stranger, she's overly invested in those around her. Caring to a fault, but also not one to shy away from talking an ear off to those around her given the opportunity to yap about her latest interest. Some may mistake her as naive, or immature but she's not one to take things too seriously. She finds ways to see the joy in life, but still aims to be the diligent woman her parents inspired her to be.
portrayed by Charithra Chandran; penned by Bee.
full biography / background

The Thevars were known as career-minded individuals. Getting married in their early twenties, they hadn’t planned on having children until after settling into life after college and the start of their careers. In their mid-thirties, they adopted a friend’s child, after a tragedy occurred in their life. Nalini and Parvin were fine with the idea of raising just them, but a year later, Nalini discovered she was pregnant. They were overjoyed at the prospect of another child, and welcomed their baby girl in the spring.
Aisha’s childhood could be described as a bit spoiled, her parents constantly doting on her, considering both her and her sibling had been the children her parents never had thought they’d be able to have. She spent her early years in Manchester, England, until moving to the U.S. when she was a teenager after her father had gotten transferred to work for his tech company in the states.
Although it was a bit of an adjustment moving to a different country, and attending a public school, Aisha managed to thrive, with her welcoming personality and perseverance getting her through her high school years in the sunny city of Malibu. She eventually attended Stanford, majoring in communication.
After graduating, she spent a few years traveling the country. She’d been a bit lost, still not having a clue on what she wanted to do in life. It would've been an easy decision to take a job in the familiar state of California, and build her life around an ideal. But she wanted to go out and create something new for herself. It took her some time to eventually come across Merrock, and she believed it was fate that brought her to the small town. An opportunity to discover what she wanted in life, on her own terms without outside pressure. And after a few months, she became a permanent resident.
She managed to find a career as a social media manager after helping to put a business in town on the map, while her past hobby of DJing from college landed her a temporary position at Vibrations, eventually leading to her having a regular Saturday night slot at the club. After a year of living in town, she moved into a beach house by the Coast with a few friends. Carving out her own path in town, she found the quaint quiet life was something she never expected, but was ultimately taken with.
