     {➹} – HE HAD TO ADMIT, he had been somewhat apprehensive when he had been confronted on the roof by the human now settled alongside him. He had landed there by accident and had every intention of moving along when she had found him, then his plans had changed a little bit. She was rather kind, given she was talking to a virtual alien, and he really was enjoying the view. 

     “I have t’ agree with you there, but give and take, I s’ppose. The city’s not so bad without them. It kind of looks like stars on its own if you squint a little bit.”

Ais is just gonna hug Lex warmly. Do she need a reason to do it? No. She just figured he could use one.

         “c’mon, this is me we’re talking about, ais. nothing’s going to happen, i’m fine!” though that was a lie, but he was trying to be brave so he didn’t scare anyone. if he were honest, he’d say that his wing never fully healed from the night prior--and that scared him.
