Q- Quest- what they feel their quest in life is/their main goal in life
You know, six moons ago he’d have had this different answer - he’d have had this grand idea that maybe Eorzea wasn’t mucked and ruinous, and maybe things with the Alliance could be fixed up.
His main goal was shaping up to find people and teach them. Share with them, collaborate, and grow in craft, mutually, so that maybe something new, melding aether and magitek, could rise again in a new and modern age.
And then shit went sideways....
When he thinks about it now, his goal is almost short term. Learn enough and live enough. And stay busy. He’s had to set aside long cherished dreams, because he is starting to realize they are unlikely to ever happen, and it is adding more bitter to a man who has already seen people shout that they’d murder children if they could just get a clean shot.
